3D slicer set up for windows 10

Hi, Just wondering does anyone have any success with using 3D slicer on windows 10? I'm able to download the software but it either doesn't open or opens a text box/notepad. I've used it successfully with windows 7. Any advice or solution would be brilliant. Thanks

I am running Slicer 4.5.0-1 with Windows 10. Is it possible you downloaded the wrong version for your system? Or I wonder if there's a security setting that is blocking the proper install..

Hi, I found out the problem and it was my own fault. My computer is a hp probook with windows 10 and a 32 Bit processor and I was attempting to install the 64 bit package. Since this I have downloaded a previous 32 bit version that works fine.

Glad that worked out. I am also using Slicer (64 bit) and Windows 10 and it works fine.
