In addition to a variety of improvements, it has thicker walls for enhanced durability and new standardized magnetic attachment points that allow it to connect to other embodi3D arterial models. Like its predecessor, it is very adaptable and allows numerous arterial interventions in the abdomen and pelvis to be performed. The detailed arterial anatomy was generated from a real CT scan, so the exact vessel shapes, diameters, and angles are all real. Numerous detailed mesenteric branches are included for maximum realism and for practicing extremely fine catheterization.

Vascular sheath attachment points are present at the right and left common femoral arteries, allowing sheath insertion at these points as in a real procedure. This provides an unparalleled level of realism for training in an in vitro model. It is a revolutionary training tool for interventional radiologists, cardiologists, and vascular surgeons.
