Dr. Mike Posted April 12, 2018 Share Posted April 12, 2018 Ultimaker's new Cura 3.2 software now offers tree support, which is a kind of organic support type that can save filament because it doesn't have to add support under every contact point. CarlyAzuma Posted August 24, 2020 Share Posted August 24, 2020 The air gap is a setting in Cura called "Support Z Distance". It won't help you though because those tiny supports won't be able to handle the large structures you're trying to print on top of them.
