Suggestions for new forums?

That is a good suggestion. Totally de-identifying DICOMs can be a bit tricky. There are a lot headers where identifiable patient information can be hidden. I have heard that even using anonymization features of some PACS software packages can still leave some patient information there. Any ideas for how can we share DICOM datasets while ensuring that they are truly anonymized?

That being said, Osirix has a library of downloadable DICOM image sets that can be very useful if you are into 3D printing anatomical models.

Thanks for the Osirix link, I'll check into it.  I seem to recall a low cost 'stripping' program that supposedly was better than anything else out there.  I remember them from RSNA too.  I'll need to revisit my 'stuff' bag and look at my links.  When/If I make it I'll let you know.

Thanks again for the link!
