About This File

Lumbar Posterior Transverse process fusion with non-union @ L5/S1

Arthritis @ SI joints.

Body of vertebra, Superior vertebral end plate, Inferior vertebral end plate,  Intervertebral disk space, Facet joint,  Superior articular process,  Inferior articular process, Transverse process,  Spinous process, Pedicle,  Sacroiliac joint,  Sacrum, Sacral foramina, 3d, model, .stl, printable, bone, ct, scan, without, contrast,

Very outdated procedure, executed poorly.

Difficulty to sit, lay flat in bed and walk without large brace.

Symptoms vary in intensity for:

1. Motor neuron impairment: Lifting of legs.

2. Neuropathic-pain: Lower lumbar, ankles, feet.

3. Neuropathic-numbness of feet.

Snapping sounds associated with even slight rotation movements of shoulders to hips.

Brace is hard plastic and supports hips that extends up to L1, and mitigates to some extent.

Wearing brace whilst sitting dramatically aggravates the situation and will take days of bed rest to calm pain.

Limited use of anti-inflammatories help to lesser extent.

Three, reputable spine surgeons I visited afterwards are not willing to assist.

All 3 surgeons condemned the work carried out also stated in writing.

I suspect fear of being associated with below par surgery or

rather electing the "Least troublesome cases".

The 3 reputable spine surgeons all belong to the Spinal Society of South Africa.

I'm in dire need for help to return to some level of normality in order to physically sustain myself and my family.
