About This File
The stomach was segmented using 3DSlicer from a reconstructed CT scan with an IV contrast agent and a slice thickness=0.98mm. The stomach measured approximately 10cm in length, 8.5cm in height and 7cm in width. The CT scan was from an 80 year old female, 62 inches tall and 135 pounds. 3DSlicer smoothing algorithm was applied. The model is full size. Also included in the photos is the patient's spleen. The spleen was attached to the stomach model using a soldering iron. The spleen model is also available at Embodi3D.
