Community Rankings

Each member of the embodi3D community has a rank, which is a measure of how much the member has contributed to the community. The community depends on the engagement of its members, and thus rank is a way to publicly acknowledge members who have contributed. Rank can be acquired by making content contributions, for example, posting a file, creating or answering a post in the forums, writing a blog article, posting a gallery picture, or writing a review. As members advance in rank, they may acquire badges which are displayed with their user profile and on all forum posts. Ranks of Senior Expert and above have the option to give themselves a customized rank title. A table that shows ranks, badges, and minimum content contributions is shown below.
 

Member Groups

In addition to rank, each community member belongs to a Member Group, which denotes the privileges that member has on the embodi3D site. Most registered individuals are in the Member group. Individuals with a community rank of senior contributor and above can get promoted to the Advanced Member group, and will be allowed to create a blog or club, and have an increased message quota and other perks. Senior Experts and above can get promoted to the Power Member group with unlimited downloads, democratiz3D use, and free access to premium democratiz3D features. Premium subscribers have full access to all benefits.
