Hey Dr Mike, I seem to be able to get bone models made with slicer and Radiant. I would like to move into doing organs. I tried working on a brain in Horos following your steps for Osirix but the brain will not show up when I go from the grown ROI series to the STL. Any advice? Thanks
  2. New Mexico is working on getting a CT database up and running some time in 2019. Below is recent link https://www.forensicmag.com/news/2019/01/ct-scans-database-new-mexico-could-be-game-changer?et_cid=6584525&et_rid=454861088&type=headline&et_cid=6584525&et_rid=454861088&linkid=https%3a%2f%2fwww.forensicmag.com%2fnews%2f2019%2f01%2fct-scans-database-new-mexico-could-be-game-changer%3fet_cid%3d6584525%26et_rid%3d%%subscriberid%%%26type%3dheadline
  3. I am the anthropologist at a Medical Examiners office, so I am interested in bones and skeletal trauma. We have a Makerbot Z18, that I am trying to get working consistently and correctly. The pathologists will likely want soft tissue items at some point but right now I am just working on getting our current printer working and and starting to figure out workflow from CT scanner to 3D printer. Any other resin printers with large build volumes you would recommend? I just came across company called phrozen.
  4. Anybody have any experience with UNIZ? I am eyeballing the UNIZ slash pro due to its build volume but looks like the product might be to good to be true.
