JDSS
I just know from Artec the 3D scanner used in medical. A discharged soldier had one of his legs intercepted due to illness. For stand up again and back to boxing ring. He need a lightweight and flexible prosthetics. He found a company that makes custom-made prostheses. This company use Artec Eva to do 3D scanning for his body. And then design high-fitting prosthetics base on the model export from 3D printer scanner. I think the 3D scanner can speed up medical 3D printing work. If there are some affordable 3d scanner, I want to buy one to try.
jimy51
I use either InVesalius or 3D Slicer when importing DICOM files from the cd provided from surgeons/ medical imaging! I personally find 3D Slicer to work better for me as it's a bit more user friendly while also having a very wide variety of different options/settings/plugins. Maxwell Davis
I have seen Revopoint scanners used in the medical field before, they are accurate, convenient, and very portable, can be used to scan teeth, make dental molds, the main price is still cheap, I am shocked, can find out about this website.https://3ddavis.com/
