Dear DR.Mike,

          I am vinod here and dentist by profession. Using my cbct software,i place virtual dental implant in the jaw bone,but these virtual implants are not being imported into image slicer when i am importing the volume. whats the solution.kindly let me know.

Hi Vinod,

 

Can you provide more specifics? Are you saying that When you position a "virtual" implant in your CBCT software and then import the DICOM files into 3D Slicer, that your virtual implant is not present in the DICOM files? If so, then it sounds like the DICOM files are from the original scan prior to modification with the virtual implant. What CBCT software are you using?
