The spleen was segmented using 3DSlicer from a reconstructed CT scan with an IV contrast agent and a slice thickness=0.98mm. The CT scan was from an 80 year old female, 62 inches tall and 135 pounds. 3DSlicer smoothing algorithm was applied. The model is full size. Also in the photos is the patient's stomach. The spleen model is attached to the stomach using a soldering iron. The stomach model is available at Embodi3D.
