    Anatomical heart box

This is my best selling model for 2019. Download, print, assemble, enjoy. Merry Christmas
Originally modded as an engagement ring box, it became really popular birthday gift for the colleague from heart-related departments. I'm selling one of those models for 35$ I'm always bringing few, when I'm going on conference. Really nice gift.
I'm printing those with Silk PLA. The metalic colors looks fantastic. I'm using several support blockers for the atrii, because this negates the artefacts and makes the whole upper part hollow. It requires some experience...
    Slice thickness: 0,15mm
    Infill: 30% gyroid
    Circular bottom fill pattern.
Six neodymium magnets, 8x2mm. If you use too powerful magnets, the parts are closing so strong, that they can hurt someone. N50 are fine.
    cyanacrilic glue.
Make sure you're gluing the magnets with the right poles!

3D Printable Human Heart model (Improved) with stackable slices, STL format

This 3D printable model of a human heart was generated from a contrast enhanced CT scan.  This model is an improvement over a prior version (here). It shows the heart with slices cut in the anatomical transverse plane. If you are interested in a heart with short-axis slices, check out my short-axis stackable slice model here.

Notches have been added to ensure the slices fit together and do not slide against each other. The model demonstrates the detailed anatomy of the human heart in exquisite detail. Each slice stacks on top of the prior slice to form a complete human heart. Individual slices show the detailed cardiac anatomy of the right and left ventricles, and right and left atria, and outflow tracts. Perfect for educational purposes. It has been validated as printable on an Ultimaker 3 Extended printer.

Two piece hollow heart model, four chamber view

This two piece hollow heart model is derived from a high quality CT scan. The two halves can be kept separate to illustrate anatomy inside the heart, or they can be fused together to make a single piece realistic hollow heart. The cut plane is along the long axis of the heart, which allows for a perfect four-chamber view of the heart. Right and left ventricles, right and left atrium, SVC, IVC, pulmonary arteries and pulmonary veins are present in the model.

I printed this model in Formlabs elastic and fused the two models together to make a single hollow heart model for device testing. Below are some pictures from that project.

3D Printable Human Heart Model with stackable slices, short axis view

This 3D printable model of a normal human heart was generated from an ECG-gated contrast enhanced coronary CT scan.  The slices are cut to illustrate the echocardiographic short-axis view. If you are interested in a 3D printable heart that shows slices in the anatomical transverse plane, click here.

Notches have been added to ensure the slices fit together and do not slide against each other. The model demonstrates the detailed anatomy of the human heart in exquisite detail. Each slice stacks on top of the prior slice to form a complete human heart. There is a sturdy and stable base. Individual slices show the detailed cardiac anatomy of the right and left ventricles, and right and left atria, and outflow tracts in echocardiographic short-axis projection. Perfect for educational purposes.

Heart Disease 3D Model - STL Files for Bioprinting

The term "heart disease" refers to several types of heart conditions. Heart disease is the leading cause of death for both men and women. The most common type of heart disease in the United States is coronary artery disease, which affects the blood flow to the heart. Decreased blood flow can cause a heart attack.

The models are provided for distribution on embodi3D.com with the permission of the creators Dr. Beth Ripley and Dr. Tatiana. These models are part of the Top 10 Killers 3D printable disease library. James Weaver and Ahmed Hosny also contributed to the project. We thank everyone involved for their contributions to embodi3d.com and their advocacy for better health and education through 3D printing.

There are two STL files available for download and 3D bioprinting. One STL file for printing the entire heart, including the heart muscle or myocardium. The other STL is for printing the left side of the heart, including the left atrium, left ventricle, and coronary arteries which is where most heart attacks arise from. These files are distributed under the Creative Commons license Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs. Please respect the terms of the licensing agreement.
