    2. Skull model with most of the foramens. The inner ear is NOT included in the set.
    3. Mandibula model.
    4. The first 6 cervical vertebrae.
    5. The hyoid bone.
The models are accurate, with proper geometry and measurements, in their raw format. They are also 3d printable. I can slice and dice them in whatever format you need, but I'll have to charge you additionally for that.

    Temporal Bone - Facial Nerve

The following is an example of what can be done starting from the data of a skull scan. After the two-dimensional study of the scans you can devote yourself to something that seems to me of extraordinary usefulness in our specialty. In this specific case I dedicated myself to the microsegmentation of the facial nerve inside his bony canal, highlighting the three-dimensional relationships between the nerve and the structures it meets from the internal auditory canal to the stylomastoid foramen. It was so that I really understood the exact position of the nerve between the lateral semicircular canal and the oval window in the tympanic tract, the exact position of the 2 knees, and overall the relationship between the middle ear, labyrinth, facial nerve, carotid artery internal, jugular vein, auditory eustachian tube. This model can be used as a virtual personal ear trainer, or it can be 3Dprinted whole, or in its main constituents. Whole print maintains the characteristic pneumatic cellularity of the mastoid and the compactness of the otic capsule and can therefore be used as a in house ear surgery training model. It is also possible to separate and print the labyrinth and other components of the petrous part of the temporal bone separately.

P.S. please contact for more technical specification

    Reconstruction of facial malformation

This is my version of the Phenix CT dataset from the Osirix Dicom Library - an infant with Treacher-Collins syndrome and aplasia of the left zygomatic bone and maxilla after a reconstruction surgery with an autograft. I wanted to preserve the small details of the maxilla and the nasal cavity, so I segmented them manually. It took me a week. The spine is not done yet - I'm redoing it and I'll reupload the whole set in the following week. The model is 3D printable, but you'll need a multi-material extruder with soluble support for this purpose - PLA/PVA will be best (PLA/PVA is much better than ABS/HIPS in my opinion). I hope you'll enjoy it

    Left Bony Labyrinth

This file is a micro segmentation of bony labyrinth taken from a CT scan. I paid particular attention to the vestibule bone with its 2 windows, the cochlea and the semicircular canals. To exhibit all bony labyrinth I eliminated the middle ear structures, but I kept the hammer, the incus and the facial nerve canal. you can observe the course of the facial nerve canal in its three portions with two knees and with his natural dehiscences.
I also left in place the internal auditory canal and the internal auditory meatus where are visible the facial cochlear and vestibular nerves openings with the bony eminences that separate them (Bill's Bar, Crista falciformis).
You can open the file with any program for managing files .stl and navigate in three dimensions between or within the bony structures (I do with the program called Preview in Mac) to facilitate the study of these complex structures. I added screenshots which shows the most important structures.
The file is already ready to be printed and does not need cleaning.
    The dimensions are X: 21.3 mm, Y: 16.4 mm, Z: 16.4 mm (2x1.6x1.6 cm).
You can easily increase the size if you want to print a solid model of the inner ear

P.S. I spent many hours to this work and would like to have your opinions and suggestions on where to improve. I provide for those who want the file at different stages of processing

    Temporal Bone Left

This is a .stl file of a left temporal bone ready for 3d printing.

I have segmented a CT scan paying attention to all the important bony structures of the ear.
In the .stl screenshots you can see the mastoid, malleus, incus, the bony canal of the facial nerve, the stylomastoid foramen Etc.
I do this for my training and the idea is to perform a mastoidectomy just in my desktop
i have printed my personal 3d plaster model (you can see in the screenshots) but i haven't the courage to destroy it with the drill.....

I hope that my work can be of help to anyone who wants to try to drill a faithful model of temporal bone at home or simply want to study the anatomy in a versatile 3d .stl Model

    Good Job

Full size skull base in two parts for Formlabs printers

This full-size skull base was created from a CT scan and formatted for printing on Formlabs printers. The model clearly shows the anatomy of the skull base, including the foramina (holes) that allow the cranial nerves and blood vessels to enter the skull. Great as an educational tool for teaching anatomy. The two halves have notches which makes fitting them together easy.

The files are in the .form file format, and are readable by Formlabs native PreForm software, which works on the Form1, Form1+, and Form2 printers. There are two files: right and left. The left model has a build volume of 179 mL, and the right 138 mL, for a total volume of 317 mL. The pictures show the two parts after printing and after they have been cleaned.
